Job Purpose

As part of the team responsible for communicating the value of the Unily platform, the role of Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating product marketing campaigns. With a particular focus on supporting our commercial and customer-facing teams, this will involve working closely with the broader product marketing team to define key messaging for different audiences and creating product marketing content. An essential part of this role will be a desire to learn the Unily platform fully and, over time, become a product expert.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a detailed knowledge of our market, product, and target audiences
  • Work closely with the broader product marketing team to define the positioning, value proposition, and subsequent key messages for the product and its features
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate timely product marketing campaigns aligned with agreed strategic direction and objectives
  • Build market awareness of the product and its capabilities through copywriting and blog content, coordinating closely with our digital marketing team
  • Support commercial teams through the production of high-quality product marketing assets, such as feature one-pagers and short video case studies and interviews
  • Support our commercial teams with training around product and feature value proposition to ensure key messaging is delivered
  • Gather and act on commercial team feedback to ensure product marketing activity and assets are meeting the needs and expectations of prospective customers
  • Report on product marketing campaign performance, referring to customer acquisition, feature adoption, and upsell
  • Drive increased customer adoption of product capabilities through content strategy, coordinating closely with our customer-facing teams including our customer community team

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Previous product marketing experience is preferred
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to try new things
  • Experience in implementing a wide range of product marketing activities to a deadline
  • The ability to analyze the effectiveness of product marketing tactics and adapt accordingly
  • The capacity to independently manage a varied and demanding workload
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in copywriting
  • Confidence in using a range of IT systems in a product marketing context
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills
  • Ability to present concepts and ideas effectively
