ABOUT THE ROLE
We are on the lookout for a Night Manager to join our team based at The Western Sydney University – Penrith team on a permanent part-time basis (15.2 hours per week). In your new role as Night Manager, you will be adaptable in your approach and equipped to manage any situation that may arise during evening hours. You will have a natural ability to think on your feet and to resolve problems as they arise. Resident safety is a top priority for our frontline operations teams. You will be responsible for supporting the wellbeing of residents and overall management and responsibility of the building during the overnight hours.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring building security and safety; performing perimeter checks and resolving issues or emergencies that arise while on duty.
- Carrying out administration tasks including maintaining records, processing payments, audit, reporting, etc.
- Effective incident management during night shift, including grievances and conflict resolution.
- Act as a support to the residents to form a friendly and open point of contact for assistance, information, and welfare.
- Respond to residents calls about noise or disturbances within the building, and lock outs.
- Attend appropriate training and mandatory staff meetings when required.
Our mandatory requirements include:
- Valid Working Rights in Australia and New Zealand
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check (NSW)
- Ability to work on a Saturday and Sunday during the following times: 5:30 pm - 1:30 am & 1:15 am - 9:30 am
