We are looking for a Cleaning Services Manager to join our team in Christchurch and help deliver outstanding living environments for our residents.

More About The Role

Reporting to the Asset & Facilities Manager, the Cleaning Services Manager is responsible for overseeing cleaning, hygiene, and waste management contracts across our accommodation portfolio.

This is a leadership role focused on contract oversight, quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with internal teams and contractors to ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and sustainability, with a strong focus on initiatives that reduce waste to landfill and improve environmental outcomes.

  • Lead and oversee contracted cleaning, hygiene, and waste management services
  • Ensure cleaning schedules and service standards are consistently achieved
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and inspections across multiple sites
  • Build strong working relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor contract performance, service delivery, and compliance requirements Support sustainability initiatives and environmentally responsible practices
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, invoice coding, and expenditure oversight
