You will be responsible for completing all MO2 Grade 2 tasks to a consistently high standard, while proactively challenging the status quo and contributing to the ongoing evolution and continuous improvement of processes and performance. This role will place a strong emphasis on maintaining high standards of quality, health, safety and employee welfare, while actively promoting and demonstrating Unilin’s core values of openness, integrity, adaptability, customer focus and a collaborative team approach.

Permanent Postion, working Monday to Friday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating weekly.

Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Work in accordance with the company’s ethos, values, policies and standards.
  • Work flexibly across all areas of the factory as required.
  • Complete and maintain all required training for the MO2 Grade 2 role and associated functions.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across all working areas.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, processes and relevant procedures.
  • Ensure all waste is segregated and disposed of in the appropriate manner.
  • Follow all relevant work instructions, procedures and operating standards.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, policies and procedures at all times.
  • Take responsibility for your own Health & Safety and that of colleagues within the working environment.
  • Ensure all required production and operational data is recorded accurately and kept up to date.
  • Manage and coordinate workflow effectively, ensuring the team operates to a high standard and achieves required targets.
  • Set up machinery and equipment as required, ensuring production start-up is completed safely and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with Shift Coordinators and Shift Leaders, ensuring they are kept informed of any issues or concerns within the designated area.
  • Provide cover for designated MO1 or MO2 roles when required.
  • Proactively share knowledge, ideas and solutions with Shift Leaders and the Polymer Engineer to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective communication and the timely transfer of information relevant to the role.
  • Ensure all relevant quality standards, procedures and guidelines are consistently followed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours where required to support operational requirements and meet production deadlines.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the position, as reasonably requested by management.
