The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for looking after and growing the Unilin customer base in the PA, G, KA, DG, ML, EH & TD postcodes. This role involves driving revenue and expanding the customer base while embodying core values like passion, respect, excellence, and entrepreneurship.

  • Maintain display material and update brand POS
  • Keeping accurate records on CRM system including call plan, weekly calls, POS questionnaires and other relevant data
  • Ensure customer call targets are maintained
  • Build healthy and professional relationships with other distribution partners in sales territory
  • Manage brand penetration within sales territory
  • Be aware of and report new market trends
  • Recognise the importance of brand presentation through POS materials within customer outlets
  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Dual calls with both business prospects and complaint inspections when required
  • Submit monthly area report
  • Provide ongoing and dedicated product training sessions to customers
  • Attend National and Regional Sales Meetings
  • Build healthy and professional relationships with internal departments eg Customer Service, Credit Control, Marketing etc
  • Assist internal departments with queries when required
  • Attend exhibitions, road shows, training sessions when requested (this could involve weekend work)
  • Provide monthly completion of fuel log, company credit card expenditure and personal expenses
  • Develop customer use of the company’s digital platforms
