We are seeking an experienced and passionate Engineering Project Manager to join our team. If you are driven by excellence in project execution and thrive in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome applications from candidates based in either Ireland or the UK.

In this role, you will lead multi-site projects from detailed design to ensuring on-time project completion and keeping within budgeted costs with minimal impact to site operations through each project phase. Continuously improving engineering standards/processes in both Project and Maintenance Departments across IRL & UK sites.

Key Attributes:
  • Engineering Degree qualification or Mechanical/Electrical based apprenticeship qualification.
  • 8+ years’ Engineering experience preferably in the manufacturing industry or similar.
  • Decisive & ability to make decisions quickly and effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Highly motivated with proven ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team.
  • Team player who will work with others and individually to achieve company goals.
  • Methodical with excellent organizational, communication, numeric and analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly identify practical solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task with multiple projects across multiple sites.
  • Experienced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package & CAD.
  • 5+ Years Senior Project Management experience.
Key Tasks and Duties:
  • Work within the ethos and standards of the company. Role will be primarily based from Navan site.
  • Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean working environment and permit system is adhered to.
  • Site Project Management of all Capex Projects and relevant operation projects that are assigned to the team.
  • Contractor Management ensuring Health & Safety procedures are in line with ZeroHarm company policies.
  • Sourcing cost-effective solutions & working with OEM’s/Suppliers for best return on investment.
  • Lead projects & manage teams from detailed design to successful CAR approval stage.
  • Flexible working hours and days to meet Project deadlines & schedules.
  • Completion of snag lists, site handover protocols and updating site folders.
  • Effective planning, co-ordination, and communication with site departments across all sites.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to assist in the smooth running of the organisation during project stages.
  • Work with Engineering Team to drive positive change across all sites & adhere to industry best practices.
  • Assisting Maintenance departments in repeat downtimes and complex engineering fault finding.
  • Identify poor reliability equipment & machines affecting site KPIs with team for future Capex investment.
  • Communicating effectively with Operations & Engineering Manager, Plant Mgrs & Site Teams.
  • Travel required to UK & IRL Unilin sites on a regular basis to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Travel to OEM & Unilin sites for project design & info sharing as and when required.
  • Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management.
