Maternity Cover - 11 months Temporary Contract
To assist the E.H&S Manager and Quality Manager with administrative duties for the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. To actively promote a culture of Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental, and Continuous Improvement throughout the business by constantly challenging the status quo whilst promoting Unilin’s core values, working Monday – Friday.
Key Attributes:
- IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)
- Studying towards NEBOSH general certificate (preferred)
- Working knowledge of quality, health, safety and legislation (preferred)
- Experience with the administration of Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental systems
- Qualified/trained auditor with experience of performing internal audits (Preferred)
- An excellent working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook and Google I.T. based applications
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals
- Excellent communication skills, self‑motivated with an ability to multitask
- Meticulous attention to detail
Key Tasks and Duties:
- Maintenance of Document Control system
- Updating of spreadsheets and reports on a daily/weekly basis (e.g., accident stats, returns master, etc.)
- Carry out induction training with new employees and maintain existing UK training matrix
- Maintain training matrix, electronic files and physical files
- Assist in updating RA’s and SOP’s, including reformating and reviewing existing ones
- Assist with on‑site risk assessments
- Management of P.P.E., 1st aid and workwear stocks including performing stock take and routine ordering
- Administration of the Company’s Occupational Health Programme (e.g., schedule appointments, highlight recalls, personal risk assessments, etc.)
- Schedule internal audits with internal auditors and relevant managers
- Organise safety committee meetings and take minutes
- Responsible for issuing and tracking corrective actions
- Raise CAPA’s on the system (from accidents, walkarounds, audits, returns, etc.) – ensure managers are aware of actions
- Ensure that all relevant notice boards are kept up‑to‑date and in line with the relevant ISO standard, and KPIs
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental management review (e.g., preparation of stats – waste, utilities, NCR’s, etc.)
- Assist in incident and accident investigations
- Ensure compliance with waste management permits, environmental permits, and national regulations by compiling monthly waste data reports
- Undertake any project work as delegated by management
- Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines; some early starts will be required to cover all shifts for the safety committee meetings
