We are looking for a skilled General Operative to join our team. The focus of this role is to complete all GO1 tasks to a high standard, by constantly challenging the status quo and being at the forefront of evolution, continuous improvement, quality and health, safety & welfare. While promoting Unilin’s core values of openness, integrity, adaptability, customer focus and team approach.
Permanent Position, working on shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 16:00.
Key Accountabilities- Health & Safety – To encourage and practice working in a safe working environment as set out in the Health and Safety policy.
- Quality Standards – Ensure they are supporting the team in performing to quality standards in terms of product quality and housekeeping.
- Trial / Improvements – Participate in processes and production trials as and when required to ensure that they run successfully and support the technical department.
- Area / Line Performance – Adherence to plan and achieving line speeds, meeting standards required. Able to share knowledge with others and support with ‘in house’ training.
- Communication – Effective communication throughout the department. Ability to communicate with people clearly and effectively.
- Administration – Carry out necessary administrative tasks and ensure that systems are updated as required. Ensuring correct and accurate data recording.

- Complete training and all functions of GO1 Grade 1
- Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas
- Keep up to date knowledge of all products
- Ensure waste is discarded in appropriate manner
- Follow work instructions in all areas
- Complete and pass GO1 training in your designated area
- Ensure you comply with Health & Safety regulations
- Be responsible for your own Health & Safety and the health and safety of your fellow employees
- Ensure all data to be recorded is accurate and up to date
- Ensure area is prepared for start up to include correct labels and packaging
- Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas
- Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines
- Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management
