Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled General Operative to join our team.
The focus of this role is to complete all GO1 tasks to a high standard, by constantly challenging the status quo and being at the forefront of evolution, continuous improvement, quality and health, safety & welfare while promoting Unilin’s core values of openness, integrity, adaptability, customer focus and team approach.
Working Monday to Thursday 21:45 – 06:15 permanent nights.
- Key Accountabilities
- Health & Safety – encourage and practice working in a safe manner as set out in the Health and Safety policy.
- Quality Standards – support the team in performing to quality standards in terms of product quality and housekeeping.
- Trial / Improvements – participate in processes and production trials as required to ensure successful execution and support the technical department.
- Line Performance – adhere to plan and achieve line speeds, meeting required standards. Share knowledge with others and provide in‑house training.
- Communication – effective communication throughout the department. Ability to communicate with people clearly and effectively.
- Administration – carry out necessary administrative tasks and ensure that systems are updated.
- Accurate data recording – ensure correct and accurate data recording.

- Ensure waste is discarded in appropriate manner.
- Follow work instructions in all areas.
- Complete and pass GO1 training in your designated area.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Take responsibility for your own Health & Safety and that of fellow employees.
- Ensure all data to be recorded is accurate and up to date.
- Prepare the area for start up, including correct labels and packaging.
- Follow quality guidelines for all areas.
- Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines.
- Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management.
