- Has some experience working with SAP.
- Feels comfortable engaging from time to time directly with transport companies.
- Has had hands‑on experience in complaint resolution and shipment costing.
- Demonstrates strong route planning knowledge across all UK regions, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transport solutions.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable navigating in-house systems.
- Maintains a disciplined and conscientious approach, capable of managing multiple administrative and planning tasks simultaneously.
- Thrives under pressure and can adapt quickly to changing schedules, maintaining accuracy and professionalism throughout.

- Be able to interpret data and provide reports as and when required.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all administrative tasks relating to the transport, distribution and returns departments are carried out consistently, accurately and in a timely manner.
- To achieve customer order requirements within the agreed parameters relating to lead‑time, cost, volume, and quality specification.
- Assist in both load and route planning.
- Complete returned goods documentation in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage the flow of information regarding the status of customer inbound/outbound deliveries.
- Build positive relationships with internal departments and suppliers.
- Handle incoming communication from customer service and resolve enquiries.
- Undertake any other tasks within the appropriate levels of responsibility or as directed by a member of the management team.
- Contribute ideas which will improve our ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Health & Safety:
- Work within the Health and Safety Guidelines set out by the Company
- Check compliance adherence for Digital Tachographs and drivers’ hours and infringements monitored
- Be aware of the Risk assessments applicable to you and comply with relevant Safe Systems of Work
