To deliver high quality back end support to the Customer Service function by maintaining the accuracy and integrity of customer master data, pricing, and invoicing. The role plays a vital part in protecting margin, enhancing customer experience, and driving continuous improvement through insightful data analysis, structured reporting, and proactive corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and validate customer master data, including pricing, discounts, rebates, and commercial conditions.
- Ensure pricing accuracy across ERP and related systems.
- Support pricing updates, audits, and change controls in line with internal governance.
- Run regular and ad-hoc reports on pricing accuracy, invoice validation, and customer data quality.
- Analyse trends, variances, and recurring issues impacting invoicing, margin, or customer satisfaction.
- Produce clear, actionable insights for Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
- Monitor invoice accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Support customer claims relating to pricing, invoicing, and master data errors.
- Coordinate root-cause analysis and ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
- Act as a quality gate for customer data and commercial accuracy.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to reduce errors and rework.
- Support quality initiatives and documentation of standard processes.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to resolve data and pricing issues.
- Support sales reporting investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
