Our Five Values

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to help launch one of Unilife's newest properties and play a key role in creating an exceptional resident experience from day one.

As House Supervisor at our brand new Castle Way property in Southampton, you'll be one of the first members of the team, helping to shape the culture, standards and resident experience from the very beginning. You'll be the heartbeat of the building, creating a welcoming, professional and inspiring environment where students genuinely love to live.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering a luxury level of service every single day.

The Role

Working primarily Monday to Friday, 11:00am - 7:00pm, you'll be available when our residents need you most, creating a visible, welcoming presence within the building. Occasional weekend working will be required to support resident events and operational requirements.

As House Supervisor, no two days will be the same. You'll combine customer experience, operational excellence, community building and commercial awareness to deliver the Ultimate Student Living Experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of Unilife at Castle Way, building strong relationships with residents, parents, colleagues and neighbours.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to queries quickly, accurately and with care.
  • Create a warm, welcoming and well-run home environment where residents feel valued and supported.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the resident experience and drive positive feedback.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the property with a strong eye for detail.
  • Work closely with the Property Manager to support health and safety, ensuring the building is safe, compliant and exceptionally well maintained.
  • Support residents with rent conversations, encouraging timely payments through clear communication and a helpful, solutions-focused approach.
  • Use IT and CRM systems to manage resident interactions and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Represent Unilife at events, open days and networking opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives that continually improve the resident experience and support the success of the property.

About You

You're passionate about people, service and high standards. You enjoy building relationships, solving problems and creating experiences that people remember. You understand that it's often the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in hospitality, property, student accommodation or another customer-focused environment.
  • A commercially aware mindset with the ability to balance exceptional service with operational performance.
  • Confidence building relationships and representing a premium brand.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence using IT systems (CRM experience is an advantage, although full training will be provided).
  • The flexibility to support occasional weekend events and operational activities when required.
