Within Unilever, Home Care Europe is a highly successful business operating in a growing and very competitive market, with presence in 35 countries with different brands and brand positions. The HC category is divided in 4 segments: Fabric Cleaning, Fabric Enhancers, Home & Hygiene and Dishwash, and is driven by a dynamic, ambitious, and engaged team, operating in a challenging but exciting environment that offers a great opportunity to develop as marketer and business talent. This is a field where marketers can develop and sharpen their skills by confronting some of the largest players in FMCG such as P&G, Henkel, and Reckitt Benckiser. JOB PURPOSE

You will support the BU’s marketing and Strategy lead with the Fabric Cleaning strategic growth plans for 6 BG Led Markets in Europe (UK, France, Poland, Italy, Netherlands and Germany). Working in close cooperation with the global team on the Big Bold moves innovations and One plan alignment. With strong collaboration with the cross-functional team (R&D, SC, CSP and DMC). You will own the portfolio for the Europe Business Unit and co-lead core renovations, big and small, that will make our business win and grow. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic brand & marketing planning: You will collaborate with the markets and global to deliver successful business plans feeding into the category strategy and global Big Bold moves, fixing the plans when needed. Defining clear Jobs to Be Done for 6 BG markets, matching the annual business process (IBP) and advising on the portfolio and funnel.
  • Portfolio ownership & Driving Core renovations: You will own the EU fabric cleaning portfolio with CSP teams aligning on portfolio opportunities with local marketing teams. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to avoid complexity increase while unlocking growth opportunities. You will be driving the Core renovations under the leadership of the BU Fabric Cleaning Lead, fitting with the brand and category growth agenda and regulatory needs.
  • Supporting the 5S program for the brand: Improving profitability is a must for the markets to have the relevant BMI to support their brands. You will support the BU scoped marketing relevant savings programs for the different brands in tight collaboration with R&D, Procurement and Supply Chain teams.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Marketing proficiency with proven experience within innovation / CSP / local marketing roles. Home Care will be a plus.
  • Great project management skills with strong bias for actions and accountability.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with diverse and large groups of people across regions and functions face to face and virtually.
  • Capacity to influence and engage with senior stakeholders along the way.
  • Skill to balance strategic thinking and short-term execution.
  • Strong business acumen as well as strong logic.
  • Consumer & customer focus.
  • Ability to de-complicate, keep things simple and live by the “small is beautiful” mantra.
