Location: Manchester - Selfridges and other Key Retailers

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote, demonstrate, and communicate to customers the brands in Selfridges, achieving ambitious retail sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional service and demonstrate excellent product and brand knowledge.
  • Deliver the brand customer journey and exceptional service-led customer consultations to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Plan and execute in-store trainings and events while highlighting stock challenges to your Line Manager.
  • Ensure a full SKU profile is always available and achieve sales targets while developing premium customer service and building customer loyalty.
  • Increase counter/account productivity to meet a minimum AUS 2.0 & AVS £65.
  • Learn fundamental product knowledge including features, benefits, usage, and application techniques.
  • Maintain the counter/store quality and merchandising including appearance and cleanliness of counter/display.
  • Complete a stock audit for full stock availability while reporting out of stocks with your line manager and in-store teams.
  • Submit daily and weekly reports to your Line Manager.
  • Develop positive relationships with department store floor managers and head office.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of skincare and beauty trends.
  • Bring new ideas to the business to maximize sales and hit targets.
  • Arrange store activity and dual sites (as agreed with line manager) to drive sales and footfall.
  • Prepare and execute exciting events in-store that contribute to sales targets.
  • Use technical knowledge and selling skills to influence customers and assist them in choosing the right products.
  • Proactively identify challenges with a solution-driven attitude.
  • Ensure high merchandising standards are maintained e.g., planograms adhered to, testers available and clean and in date, POS on shelf, pricing tickets in situ.
  • Manage samples effectively when available in store.
  • Proven experience in sales and achieving/exceeding targets.
  • Evidence of growing accounts.
  • Selling in FMCG and beauty/skincare experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal, numeracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent team player. Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Working hours to meet peak trade requirements (Tuesday to Saturday).
