The HC category is divided into 4 segments: Fabric Cleaning, Fabric Enhancers, Home & Hygiene, and Dishwash, driven by a dynamic, ambitious, and engaged team in a challenging but exciting environment, offering great opportunities for marketers and business talents. This field allows marketers to develop and sharpen skills by competing with major FMCG players like P&G, Henkel, and Reckitt Benckiser. Deep consumer insight, fast reaction, and time to market are crucial.

The BU FCL ABM will report to the Mkt & Strategy Lead for Europe’s BU, managing the Fabric Cleaning One Plan for BG-led markets, aligning category strategy, BU JTBDs, and ensuring the plan delivers both short and long-term results, elevating the brand and meeting key objectives. With support from the BU Fabric Cleaning Lead, you will oversee the portfolio, leading core renovations, regulatory changes, and marketing initiatives across the BU to ensure simplification and harmonization. You will collaborate with BG teams to implement big bold moves directly in the markets.

JOB PURPOSE

You will support the BU’s marketing and strategy lead with the Fabric Cleaning growth plans for 6 BG-led markets in Europe (UK, France, Poland, Italy, Netherlands, and Germany). You will work closely with the global team on innovations and the One plan alignment, collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, CSP, DMC).

You will own the portfolio for the Europe Business Unit and co-lead core renovations that drive growth and business success. You will learn from experienced leaders and colleagues in a diverse, global culture to develop your skills. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Brand & Marketing Planning

Collaborate with markets and global teams to develop successful business plans aligned with category strategy and big bold moves, adjusting plans as needed. Define clear Jobs to Be Done for 6 markets, support the IBP process, and advise on portfolio and funnel strategies. Skills needed: P&L management, strategic thinking, customer and trade orientation, stakeholder influence.

2. Portfolio Ownership & Driving Core Renovations

Own the EU fabric cleaning portfolio, aligning with CSP teams and local markets to identify opportunities while maintaining simplicity. Lead core renovations under the BU Fabric Cleaning Lead, ensuring alignment with brand and category growth, regulatory requirements, and regional projects. Manage artwork processes and asset development, working with agencies. Skills needed: consumer understanding, product development, cross-functional leadership, financial acumen, communication skills.

3. Supporting the 5S Program

Assist in profitability improvements through marketing savings programs, collaborating with R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain. Skills needed: project management, leadership, business acumen.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Marketing experience of 3+ years in innovation, CSP, or local markets; home care experience is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with a bias for action and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and with diverse teams across regions and functions, both face-to-face and virtually.
  • Influence and engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Balance strategic thinking with short-term execution.
  • Strong business acumen and logical reasoning.
  • Consumer and customer focus.
