We are seeking an experienced Head of Delivery (Chromatographic Bioanalysis) to join our senior leadership team at our York site. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing chromatographic bioanalysis delivery across pre-clinical and clinical studies, ensuring right-first-time, compliant throughput in line with GLP/GCP and ICH M10 requirements. You will set clear operating standards and priorities, translate capacity into calm and efficient delivery, and drive quality, consistency, and performance across the Delivery Team. As a senior site leader, you will play a key role in shaping the operating model, developing talent, and delivering overall site objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimise delivery of chromatographic bioanalysis studies (LC-MS/MS)
- Set clear operating standards, priorities, and delivery rhythms
- Ensure right-first-time, GLP/GCP-compliant study execution
- Manage resources, workloads, and delivery timelines effectively
- Line manage, coach, and develop Responsible Scientists and analysts
- Oversee method lifecycle in partnership with Scientific Development
- Lead audit readiness and support regulatory inspections
- Engage with clients and support scientific and commercial activities
By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission forward and helping us achieve our organizational goals.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in a relevant scientific discipline (PhD desirable)
- 10+ years’ experience in regulated bioanalytical laboratories
- Significant leadership experience in LC-MS/MS bioanalysis
- Strong knowledge of GLP, GCP, and ICH M10 requirements
- Proven ability to improve delivery performance and quality
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK
