Team Leader

Unikcare Solutions Ltd is a domiciliary care agency providing high-quality care services to people living in their homes. We are based in Morecambe, and currently provide home care services in Lancashire and Cumbria. Our services are person-centred and professional, focused on meeting individual needs and adapting as dictated by the person(s) involved, in a cost effective and timely manner. We provide care in your own home, at times convenient to you, and in the ways you find most agreeable. We strive to support the independence of individuals and enable them to remain in their homes for as long as possible.

Due to expansion and internal promotion, we are looking to employ a Team Leader in the Carnforth Area. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Weekly handovers within your area of work
• Weekly checks of paperwork and medication
• Signing in any medication and ensuring all paperwork is up to date
• Providing bespoke care to service users with a wide range of impairments
• Supporting and promoting independence where possible, which may include personal care, general tidying, light cleaning duties, meal planning, assisting with medication and providing companionship

This list is not exhaustive. You must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, taking into account the variety of complex and sensitive situations that occur both internally and externally. Due to the nature of the post, it is essential that you have experience within the domiciliary care industry. It is desirable that you have experience leading a team, however this is not essential.

Salary package: £11.44 - 11.90 (British Pound Sterling)
