Your role:
- Oversight of electrical compliance across the renewable projects
- Ensure designs, installations and commissioning meet all legal and grid standards
- Manage audit and inspection processes
- Liaise with DNO's regulatory bodies, and certifiers
- Support internal compliance procedures, ensuring they are compliant and fully embedded to eradicate any inconsistent practices that may arise
- Risk management
- Lead, coach and manage the Electricians productivity
- Oversee site surveys, including PIBI's, installations, materials and documentation
- Provide technical support
- Inspect electrical installations carried out to ensure full compliance with MCS, NICEIC building and electrical regulations
- Inspect Electrical certification issued by Electricians and sub-contractors to ensure full compliance with NICEIC requirements
- Provide technical support and assistance with all aspects of electrical work
- Monitor compliance with the Electricians electrical test equipment
- Ensure pre and post site inspections are carried out
What We Need From You:
- Competent in all aspects of electrical discipline, qualified supervisory experience, and will ideally have experience of working within a social housing environment.
- Repairs site management experience is essential.
- Previous role as an NICEIC QS essential as is experience using NICEIC certification website.
- BS7671 IET Regulations 18th Edition I.E.E Wiring Regulations, 2391 or equivalent and C&G NVQ L3 including AM2 Plus Gold Card qualifications are essential.
- Latest version Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671 IET Regulations).
- City & Guilds certification in Solar PV Installation and maintenance desirable.
