The University of Leeds is seeking an External International Pathways Officer to support the admissions and operational management of international pathway activity. This role focuses on supporting international students progressing through foundation pathways into undergraduate study at the university. Working within the International Pathways Centre, the position contributes to a high-quality student experience and supports collaboration with external pathway providers. The role involves close partnership with the Admissions Operations Manager to coordinate admissions processes and support operational relationships connected to external international pathways. The position also supports transition activity for students entering the university through these routes.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the admissions function for students from the university’s external international pathway providers
  • Work closely with the Admissions Operations Manager on admissions activities
  • Support operational student processes connected to pathway admissions
  • Manage operational aspects of relationships with key external international pathway partners
  • Support student experience activities for international students
  • Assist with transition support for students progressing to the university
  • Support admissions onto the university’s own International Foundation Year (IFY) as directed by the Admissions Operations Manager
  • Contribute to the university strategy focused on recruiting international students at undergraduate level
