OVERVIEW
King's College London is recruiting a Global Mobility Officer (Incoming Student Support) to support incoming study abroad programmes for students from overseas universities. The role combines programme administration, student support, and international relationship liaison across a global mobility environment. Working closely with the Global Mobility Senior Officer and another officer, the successful candidate will contribute to communication, orientation, and operational delivery throughout the academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Support nomination, application, and orientation processes for incoming students
- Liaise with students and colleagues across the university
- Coordinate accurate communications throughout the year
- Organise events related to incoming global mobility activity
- Work with Peer Advisors to support students
- Deliver presentations for incoming students and related audiences
- Administer module selection, allocation, and amendments using SITS:Vision
- Support visits from overseas universities and provider organisations
- Handle office administration including purchase orders, room bookings, catering, and facilities issues
- Provide programme administration support within incoming study abroad activity
Requirements
- Ability to support incoming study abroad programmes
- Experience or capability in programme administration
- Ability to provide student support within a global mobility setting
- Ability to liaise with students, colleagues, and overseas organisations
- Ability to coordinate communications accurately throughout the year
- Ability to organise events and presentations
- Ability to administer module selection and amendments using SITS:Vision
- Ability to support office administration tasks including facilities coordination and bookings
- Ability to work in a predominantly computer-based role with some in-person delivery during the academic year
