OVERVIEW The University of Strathclyde is recruiting a Deputy Head of International Student Journeys within the Student Experience Directorate in Glasgow, Scotland. This leadership role focuses on the operational management and continuous development of Visa Compliance and International Student Support services. The successful candidate will work in a complex and evolving regulatory environment, supporting high-quality services for the international student community while maintaining compliance with external requirements. Reporting to the Head of International Student Journeys, the role contributes to directorate priorities, institutional projects, and service improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership across operational, compliance, and student experience activities
  • Support the operational management of Visa Compliance and International Student Support services
  • Lead continuous development initiatives within international student services
  • Ensure services maintain compliance with external regulatory
