UCL is recruiting a Senior Careers Officer within Student Well-being and Registry in the Vice-Provost (Education and Student Experience) department. This full-time permanent hybrid role is based in London and focuses on supporting a diverse global student community through careers programming, employer engagement, and coaching. The position involves working closely with students and employers across APAC and Asia recruitment markets. The successful candidate will contribute to careers initiatives that improve student experience, strengthen employer partnerships, and support students pursuing international opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Design careers programmes for a diverse global student community
  • Coach students on careers and recruitment opportunities
  • Create opportunities with employers across APAC
  • Develop partnerships with employers and external organisations
  • Deliver careers events and engagement activities
  • Use insight and feedback to improve support for students in global recruitment markets

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
  • Experience working or living in China and/or Hong Kong
  • Knowledge of the Asia-Pacific graduate labour market
  • Experience relevant to careers, student support, or employer engagement
