OVERVIEW The University of Worcester is seeking a Global Opportunities Manager to lead the development and delivery of international mobility opportunities for students. This role provides strategic leadership across study abroad and exchange activity, supporting both inbound and outbound programmes. The position sits within Student Services β International Student Experience & Mobility and contributes to the management of international partnerships and student participation in global opportunities. The role also supports the delivery of key mobility initiatives including the Turing Scheme and Erasmus+, while ensuring compliance and effective risk management processes. The successful candidate will provide leadership within the team and oversee the work of the Global Opportunities Coordinator.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of international mobility opportunities for student participation
- Provide strategic leadership for international mobility programmes
- Support inbound and outbound mobility programmes
- Oversee study abroad and exchange experiences
- Contribute to the management of international partnerships
- Support delivery of the Turing Scheme and Erasmus+
- Ensure compliance and risk management within mobility activity
- Develop initiatives to increase student participation in global opportunities
- Provide line management for the Global Opportunities Coordinator
Requirements
