OVERVIEW The University of Northampton is recruiting an International Student Advice Officer (UN5537) for a full-time 12-month fixed-term role based at Waterside Campus. The position supports recruitment and retention activities by providing student-centred advice and guidance on immigration and international student matters. This role contributes to an excellent experience for international students while supporting the Senior International Student Advice Officer and wider Immigration and Compliance Team. The successful candidate will work within a higher education environment that requires accuracy, communication skills, and the ability to apply complex regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide student-centred advice and guidance on immigration and international student issues
  • Support the University of Northampton’s recruitment and retention activities
  • Support the Senior International Student Advice Officer
  • Contribute to Immigration and Compliance Team functions
  • Assist with engagement monitoring activities
  • Support Home Office reporting
