OVERVIEW The University of Surrey is recruiting Student Recruitment Advisors on a fixed term contract until June 2027. The role focuses on contributing to recruitment and admissions targets through a wide range of student-facing activities and events under the direction of the Student Recruitment Manager. This position involves regular engagement with schools and colleges, supporting recruitment events, and helping prospective student audiences throughout the admissions journey. The role also requires extensive travel alongside evening and weekend working.


Key responsibilities



  • Contribute towards recruitment and admissions targets

  • Attend recruitment activities under the direction of the Student Recruitment Manager

  • Support school and college events

  • Build relationships with schools

  • Support open days, applicant days and campus tours

  • Assist with marketing materials

  • Support virtual events

  • Contribute to conversion activity

  • Assist with clearing activities

  • Travel extensively as required for recruitment events and activities

  • Participate in weekend and evening events
