Unify HQ are working exclusively with a start-up accounting firm based in Portsmouth. My client is looking for a Trainee Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis and will be responsible for delivering high quality services to clients whilst developing core accounting skills.

The Role:

  • Coordinating small to medium-sized client accounts
  • Handling all aspects of bookkeeping including sales and purchase ledger
  • Registering subcontract/CIS invoices
  • Supporting with bank reconciliations

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previously worked within an accounting firm (desirable)
  • Studying towards their AAT qualification
  • Knowledge of subcontractor invoicing or CIS (advantage)
  • Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
