Unify HQ are working exclusively with a start-up accounting firm based in Portsmouth. My client is looking for a Trainee Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis and will be responsible for delivering high quality services to clients whilst developing core accounting skills.
The Role:
- Coordinating small to medium-sized client accounts
- Handling all aspects of bookkeeping including sales and purchase ledger
- Registering subcontract/CIS invoices
- Supporting with bank reconciliations
Ideal Candidate:
- Previously worked within an accounting firm (desirable)
- Studying towards their AAT qualification
- Knowledge of subcontractor invoicing or CIS (advantage)
- Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
