Overview: Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Regional HGV class 1 driver to join a prominent company that provides a wide range of services including powered access, telescopic handler rental, machinery sales, contract hire options and specialized training programs. Our client is a leader in equipment hire and is currently undergoing remarkable growth. As a Class 1 Driver you will be delivering machinery across Northern regions as well as collecting, ensuring safety checks are complete and upholding customer service.

What do I need?

  • You must hold a HGV Class 1 Licence
  • Full CPC
  • Prior experience transporting Powered Access equipment or Plant machinery
  • Good understanding of vehicle safety and upkeep
  • Experience with loading and unloading

Responsibilities:

  • Collection and delivery of hire machinery to and from customer sites
  • Handover of machinery whilst following company code of practice
  • Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety
  • Daily completion of vehicle checks
  • Effectively manage own working time
  • Provide outstanding customer service
