Overview:

Unify are delighted to be recruiting for an Operator Recruiter to join a leading provider of Plant Hire, Transport and Haulage service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth whilst supporting the UK’s Construction sector.

You will be responsible for proactively recruiting and assigning skilled Plant Operators nationwide, ensuring the right talent is matched to project needs.

What do I need?

  • Previous experience within a Recruitment role at any level
  • An understanding and experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment (Temporary Recruitment would be beneficial but not essential)
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong communication
  • Be able to be independent and a strong decision maker

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective workforce planning by strategically assigning operators based on project requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external site personnel.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls for clear communication with on-site personnel.
  • Oversee projects inductions for both external and internal personnel.
  • Accurately enter and manage data within internal systems and applications.
  • Handle confidential information in compliance with GDPR and company policies.
  • Coordinate with Operator Managers, project management teams, on-site personnel and management teams to support streamlining the operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and handling communications via phone and email.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s fleet to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Take responsibility for specific accounts, including Key Accounts, Regional Accounts, and project-specific locations.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication among all stakeholders, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain smooth and efficient processes.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm, Office Based
