Mobile and Workshop Engineer

Job Title: Mobile / Workshop Engineer Location: Exeter Job Type: Permanent Overview: Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Plant Engineer to join an established Plant Hire construction business who are based Exeter. This position will be covering mobile engineer responsibilities, working within the depot when required as well as travelling to different depots. As the Service Engineer, you will be tasked with maintaining and rectify faults on construction plant equipment, including diagnosing faults, repairs and servicing. What do I need? * Prior experience working on Plant Machinery * Qualification in Heavy vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3) or equivalent * Strong mechanical knowledge * Effective planning and organization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Responsibilities: * Fault Finding / Diagnostics * Routine maintenance of heavy plant machinery * Carry out maintenance on a variety of plant equipment from rollers, dumpers, excavators etc… * Carry out safety inspections * Be able to follow manuals and use diagnostics tools * To record information accurately
