Overview:
Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Plant Engineer to join an established Plant Hire construction business based in Exeter. This position will cover mobile engineer responsibilities, working within the depot when required as well as travelling to different depots.
As the Service Engineer, you will be tasked with maintaining and rectifying faults on construction plant equipment, including diagnosing faults, repairs and servicing.
What do I need?
- Prior experience working on Plant Machinery
- Qualification in Heavy vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3) or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities:
- Fault Finding / Diagnostics
- Routine maintenance of heavy plant machinery
- Carry out maintenance on a variety of plant equipment from rollers, dumpers, excavators etc.
- Carry out safety inspections
- Be able to follow manuals and use diagnostics tools
- To record information accurately
