You will be joining a leading provider of Plant Hire service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth. What do I need? * Experienced Depot Manager or Operations professional within the plant hire or construction sector. * Proven track record of driving revenue growth. * Strong financial and budget management capabilities. * Adaptable and open to travel between sites as required. * Highly organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines. * Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset, proactively mitigating risks and learning from challenges. * A collaborative team player who leads by example. Responsibilities: * Oversee all depot operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. * Structure teams effectively to hit key targets in sales, profit, stock levels, costs, customer satisfaction, and health & safety. * Make sure everything on-site is fully compliant, including invoices, GDPR, vehicles, and HSE regulations. * Use your knowledge of the local market to stay ahead of competitors and understand customer challenges—always aiming to improve and get things right the first time. * Keep payroll and costs within budget. * Keep branch performance on track, always looking for ways to improve. * Set clear goals, track employee performance, and make sure teams feel valued as well as supported. * Work closely with the network to ensure smooth operations for all customers. * Drive sales and profitability across all teams. * Always champion health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
