Looking for a commissioning role where you genuinely own the process from start to finish? This is an opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Manager (CxM) to take ownership of a high-profile commercial project in Central London, with particular responsibility for the commissioning and integration of MEP and BMS systems.
As Commissioning Manager you will manage all commissioning activities on site, ensuring mechanical, electrical, and BMS systems are inspected, tested, integrated, and commissioned in line with project specifications, programme requirements, and industry standards.
The Commissioning Manager will:
- Lead and manage the overall commissioning strategy, including BMS, mechanical, and electrical systems, through to successful handover.
- Coordinate commissioning activities across subcontractors, direct labour, and site trades to ensure smooth BMS and M&E integration.
- Manage ITCA activities, witness testing, and commissioning documentation in collaboration with Project Engineers.
- Oversee QA/QC, handover documentation, as-built information, and Health & Safety file contributions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for commissioning progress, resolving BMS and system integration issues to protect programme and quality.
You will need:
- Proven experience working as a Commissioning Manager or senior commissioning professional on commercial M&E projects, including BMS.
- Strong understanding of commissioning procedures, integrated testing, BMS integration, and handover requirements.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety, quality, and system performance.
- Willingness to take responsibility, accountability, and ownership of commissioning delivery.
