The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to play a pivotal role in bridging design and manufacturing. Working at the cutting edge of mechanical and electrical engineering, you\’ll help turn innovative designs into high-quality products that perform in the most demanding environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the manufacture of complex mechanical and electrical assemblies.
  • Acting as the technical link between design engineering and production.
  • Developing and maintaining work instructions, process documentation, and quality controls.
  • Driving New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure designs are production-ready and cost effective.
  • Identifying and delivering process improvements to boost quality, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving production issues in real time.
  • Designing or specifying tooling, jigs, fixtures, and test equipment.
  • Providing training and technical support to production staff.
  • Championing safe working practices and overseeing quality engineering within production.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years\’ experience as a Production Engineer in a mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience across both engineering and production support.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, assembly, and integration of mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Excellent documentation and quality support skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience with system or product testing.
  • Familiarity with defence or highly regulated industry standards.
