Duration: Initially 6 months (project scope for 12-24 months).
Location: Fully Remote (UK based).
We are looking to secure the services of a Senior Software Developer with experience of leading front and back-end development. You will join a project team working on Geospatial data transformation for a high-profile Government program, therefore you MUST have experience in Geospatial using Postgres/PostGIS.
The Software Developer will need to be comfortable turning designs into new front-end applications, and applying design changes to existing applications. You will need to be adaptable, and able to identify where your role can support other areas of the team.
Technical Expertise- Cloud Architecture: Understanding of cloud-native architectures, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
- Hands-on experience developing and debugging CI/CD pipelines, including fluency with containerised deployment methodologies.
- Proficient with geospatial data transformations, using Postgres/PostGIS.
- The Developer is accustomed to working in Agile and/or Kanban teams.
- The Developer should demonstrate experience of leading development teams.
- The Developer should demonstrate experience of working in cross-disciplinary teams and should be comfortable to understand and engage with their key stakeholders in a large organisation.
