What you'll be doing:
- Business Development
- Proactively lead generating, through our data driven tools, event attendance to represent the organisation and organic tools.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Stay up to date with Unify Energy’s pricing model and market and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing & Account Management) to create consistency and maximise opportunity.
- Contribute to sales data for board reporting.
- Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, understanding each customer's unique needs and requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure we provide the best customer experience.
- Assist customers with billing inquiries, payment arrangements, and dispute resolution.
- Provide information and guidance to customers on energy-efficient practices and sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare and present business and account updates to the company’s management.
- Follow up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with our services.
- Contribute information to sales and marketing strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled, and analysing customer reaction.
- Onboard new customers through our system from start to finish following our customer journey policies and procedures.
What we're looking for:
- Business Development
- Previous sales based experience, ideally in consultative selling - Property/Recruitment for example - where you’re building long term relationships.
- Keenness to work in a small team, working with agility and collaboration, where you’ll have a big impact - and therefore have great opportunity for commission/development.
- The passion to contribute great ideas as we grow Unify Energy even further.
- Being proactive is key, with the determination to achieve and take pride in representing the organisation.
- Account Management
- Knowledge and/or experience of the Energy sector is not essential but an interest and eagerness in sustainable energy is important.
- Experience of building relationships with customers and balancing priorities.
- Someone who takes satisfaction from a great customer experience, with the ability to take on feedback and look for improvements.
- A real collaborator, keen to support colleagues and be agile in a fast paced, scaling business.
- You’ll be keen to be creative and innovative, driving new and fresh ideas about customer campaigns and other company initiatives - diversity of thought is really important to us.
