Work Schedule: Requires in-office attendance four days per week Monday-Thursday, with Friday designated as work-from-home. The role will require regular travel between sites, anticipated to be approximately four times per month.

Responsibilities: Based primarily at the Rainford site but working across several locations, you will be part of the larger Alkegen IT team providing desktop and networking support at various levels. You will take first line ownership responding to and resolving issues across multiple locations. This role will assist in the deployment and support of all IT Infrastructure and Operations initiatives.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Higher education qualification (e.g., Associate degree), completed apprenticeship, or equivalent relevant experience;
- Strong knowledge of networking within a multi-site environment;
- Broad expertise across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking (DNS, DHCP, routing), firewalls, cloud platforms, and backup solutions;
- Experience configuring and deploying network switches, access points, is desirable;
- Strong self-management, organisation, and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach;
- Ability to provide timely support and clearly communicate with non-technical users;
- Adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies;
- Valid driving licence;
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable but not essential.
