- Job Requirements
- Ensure all PPE requirements are followed for warehouse activities.
- Report any and all hazards.
- Maintain housekeeping and health and safety standards.
- Complete activities for goods receipting of raw materials and incoming goods and Widnes Automotive Grade Fibre, using SAP system, palletising and correct storage of these items as per warehouse instructions and policies.
- Complete activities for the dispatch process, ensuring the completion of shipment picking lists that are coordinated with the logistics office, and liaising with Widnes dispatch to load the correct fibre for distribution from Holywell.
- Ensure all dispatches leave the site with the correct identification, packaging and in the correct quantities in line with quality and compliance checks required.
- Report all non-conformances.
- Stock recording, checking and counting to assist the management of raw materials, packaging, production consumables, PPE, engineering support items in line with maintaining minimum stock levels.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor to manage the reconciliation of both raw materials and finished goods physical stocks by ensuring that regular and ad hoc stock checks are carried out as requested by Logistics or Finance (purchasing).
- Support production teams with maintaining supply of stock required, ensuring all space is used and occupied correctly.
- Participate in continuous improvement of team activities and ways of working (e. g. Site improvement, housekeeping, new boxes), to meet standard requirements.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor in the review of complaints relating to Packaging or other Warehouse based activities to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Ensure the security of all warehousing areas.
- Ensure correct waste disposal/removal as part of site requirements to ensure compliance with Environment Agency standards.
