The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students who may display challenging behaviours.
- Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and senior leaders to promote positive outcomes.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.
- Contribute to the wider school community and support students' personal development.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching pupils with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential).
