A welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Hayes is seeking a motivated Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The Role
As a Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant, you will:
β’ Deliver engaging PE and sports sessions, adapted to meet the needs of all pupils
β’ Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN within the classroom and during physical activities
β’ Support children with ASD, behavioural needs, and additional learning needs
β’ Use inclusive strategies to encourage confidence, teamwork, and positive behaviour
β’ Support emotional regulation and positive engagement
β’ Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support learning outcomes
β’ Maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured environment
About You
β’ Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
β’ Confident delivering sports or PE activities in a primary setting
β’ Patient, enthusiastic, xiskglj and adaptable
β’ Strong communication and teamwork skills
β’ Reliable and committed to supporting pupilsβ wellbeing and development
β’ DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
