Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm

Are you a Sports Coach or someone with a background in physical activity who wants to make a real difference in young people's lives? Uniform Education are working with a specialist SEN school in Margate that supports pupils aged 4–19 with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). The school is looking for proactive, energetic and caring individuals to support students both in the classroom and during structured physical activity sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to transfer your sports or coaching skills into a meaningful education setting where every day counts.

About the Role

  • Support pupils with varied special educational needs in and out of the classroom
  • Use physical activity, sport and movement to help pupils develop confidence, communication and emotional regulation
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support, adapting your approach to meet individual needs
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Support with personal care for some students (training and guidance provided)
  • Build strong, positive relationships and be a calm, consistent presence in school life

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in schools, coaching, or care settings
  • A background in sport, coaching, physical education, or youth work
