We are urgently recruiting for 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN school in RH17 6EQ, supporting primary-aged pupils with additional needs. This is an immediate start opportunity for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who are available 5 days a week and are looking for consistent, ongoing work.

The Role

You will support primary-aged pupils throughout the school day, helping them to engage with learning, participate in activities and develop their confidence and independence. The school is looking for candidates who are calm, patient, nurturing and proactive, with previous experience working with children with SEN. Candidates will initially attend a trial day. If successful, the school would like the successful candidate to continue straight into the role.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working with primary-aged pupils with SEN
  • Fully DBS cleared
  • Paper copy of your DBS available to bring to the trial day
  • Available to work 5 days per week
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Able to travel reliably to a remote school location
  • Ideally based in or around Brantridge / RH17, or willing to travel and cover your own fuel/travel costs
  • Reliable, punctual and committed
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN

Please note: Due to the school's remote location, public transport is not an efficient option, so access to a car is essential.

Hours

Monday–Friday | 8:40am–3:55pm

Trial Day

Candidates who meet the requirements will be invited to attend a trial day. If successful, you will be expected to continue straight into the position.
