We are looking to recruit a Temporary Part-Time Premises Officer to start ASAP, subject to selection and compliance processes, working 20 hours per week, Mon – Thurs 4pm-8pm, at The Pride Academy, Uxbridge. The post will be until 31/08/2025.
We are looking for someone with an enhanced adult & child workforce DBS, ideally on the update service, that includes child and adult barring checks. This check will need to be completed before they can start, if not in place already.
The hourly rate to the candidate is £15.63 - £17.55 per hour (equivalent to FTE Grade 4/5 £29,340 - £32,929 per annum), or actual salary of £16,300.00 - £18,293.89 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of duties within a busy Facilities Team, including shared responsibility for health/safety, security, services/maintenance/repairs, porterage, and contractors.
Please note that The Academy is a school for students with social, emotional and mental health needs who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schooling. Students range in age from 5-19yrs. The successful candidate must therefore be patient and empathetic, ideally with previous experience of and/or a desire to work with students who have additional needs. A knowledge of school safeguarding is desirable.
