A friendly and well-established mainstream primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. About the Role
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities for nursery-aged children
- Work closely with SEN pupils, providing targeted support to meet their individual learning and development needs
- Assist with daily routines, including snack times, personal care, and play
- Help develop children’s early literacy, numeracy, and social skills through structured and creative activities
- Observe, support, and record children’s progress in line with school policies
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

What We’re Looking For
- CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally within a mainstream school
- Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a caring approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
