About the Role

  • Support children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework
  • Assist with play-based activities, learning sessions, and daily routines
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development
  • Assist with mealtimes, toileting, and transitions where required
  • Work closely with nursery staff and parents to support children’s progress

Essential Requirements

  • Level 2 Qualification in Childcare – essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential
  • Right to Work in the UK – essential
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and EYFS principles
  • Caring, patient, and proactive approach

Desirable

  • Driver preferred due to location/travel requirements
  • Level 3 Childcare qualification or working towards one
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
