The Role

  • Support behaviour management and promote positive conduct across the school
  • Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, safeguarding leads, and external agencies
  • Support attendance, punctuality, and engagement in learning
  • Act as a trusted adult, building strong and positive relationships with pupils
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to pastoral plans and interventions

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting in the UK
  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model
  • Resilient, reliable, and emotionally intelligent
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
