We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school based in NW10. This is a general classroom-based role within Key Stage 2, with the opportunity to also provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN when required. The school is well known for its welcoming atmosphere, supportive leadership team, and strong focus on staff development and progression.
The Role:
- Work across KS2 classes supporting teaching and learning
- Provide general classroom support to the class teacher
- Offer 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN where required
- Deliver small group interventions to support progress in core subjects
- Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupil needs
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working within KS2
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- SEN experience is desirable but not essential
- A proactive, caring and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
