The Role We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEND and who has the confidence to lead learning, plan activities, and work collaboratively with teachers to raise attainment and engagement. Key Responsibilities: * Support the planning, delivery, and assessment of tailored learning activities. * Lead small group sessions and cover classes when required. * Provide individualised support for pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. * Use a range of strategies and resources to promote positive behaviour and engagement. * Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support pupils’ progress. * Contribute to creating an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment. About You: * HLTA status (or willingness to work towards it). * Experience working with children and young people with SEND. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to adapt to the varying needs of pupils and remain calm under pressure. * A positive, patient, and proactive attitude. * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
