The School is a specialist setting for boys aged 5 to 11 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC). The Role:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Facilities Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly site team. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the school, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently high for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities include:
- General cleaning of classrooms, therapy rooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
- Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Safe use of cleaning products and equipment, in line with COSHH regulations
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety issues promptly
- Adhering to safeguarding and confidentiality procedures at all times
Key Requirements:
- Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
- Has previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential)
- Understands the importance of cleanliness in a school setting
