School Caretaker Location: Hayes Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 11:00am Start Date: ASAP UES1 We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a school in Hayes on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with experience in site management or maintenance who is looking for morning-only hours within a school environment. About the Role As Premises Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and safety of the school site. Duties will include: * Opening the site and ensuring the premises are safe and secure * Carrying out basic maintenance, repairs, and health & safety checks * Liaising with contractors and reporting larger maintenance issues * Monitoring site security, alarms, and access * Supporting compliance with health & safety regulations * Ensuring outdoor areas are safe and well maintained What We’re Looking For * Previous experience as a Premises Manager, Caretaker, or Site Manager (essential) * Good understanding of health & safety procedures in a school setting * Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills * Reliable and punctual, able to work independently * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What’s on Offer * Part-time hours – ideal for work-life balance * Morning-only role, Monday to Friday * Friendly and supportive school environment * ASAP start available
